Shipping Policy
Shipping
Orders process within 1-3 business days. We do not ship orders on weekends, or major US holidays. Please note that we do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Any orders placed with a P.O. Box shipping address will be automatically blocked.Â
Customers are entirely responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout. Please double-check suite, apartment, or unit numbers.
- Before Shipment: If you notice an error, contact us immediately. We will correct it if the order has not yet processed.
- After Shipment: If a carrier charges an address correction fee to reroute your package due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you, this fee will be billed directly to the customer.
- Returned Packages: If a package is returned to us due to an undeliverable or incorrect address, the customer is responsible for the original shipping costs, any return carrier fees, and the cost of a new shipping label to resend the order. Because chocolate is perishable, we cannot refund or replace orders that spoil or melt due to delivery delays caused by address errors.
We ship to physical street addresses within the contiguous United States. We do not offer free shipping on any orders. Shipping rates are calculated in real-time at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, destination, and the shipping speed you choose.
We offer international shipping exclusively to the following countries: Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and the Netherlands.
- Product Restrictions: Chocolate and perishable items are strictly unavailable for international shipping. Only non-perishable items can be shipped outside the United States. If chocolate is added to an international order, that portion of the order will be canceled and refunded.
- Duties and Taxes: All international shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes (such as VAT), and customs clearance fees levied by the destination country. These fees are not included in our product prices or shipping rates and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
- Customs Delays and Seizures: We are not responsible for packages delayed, held, or seized by local customs authorities.
Because chocolate is highly sensitive to heat, it can melt. We take precautions with insulated packaging and ice packs during warmer months. However, once packages leave our temperature-controlled facility, we are not responsible for melted, soft, or misshapen products. We do not offer refunds, replacements, or credits for heat damage.
- Choose expedited shipping (e.g., Overnight or 2-Day) at checkout.
- Ensure someone is home to receive the package so it does not sit on a hot porch or in a mailbox.
- Track your package and bring it inside immediately upon delivery.
During extreme heat waves, we may temporarily hold your shipment until the start of the following week. This prevents packages from sitting in non-climate-controlled carrier facilities over the weekend. We will email you if your order is subject to a weather hold.
We are not responsible or liable for late packages. Once a package is transferred to the carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL), transit times are entirely out of our control. We do not issue refunds for shipping costs if a carrier experiences delays, inclement weather, customs backups, or other disruptions.
- Lost Packages: If your package is lost in transit, please contact yummyworks at [email protected]. Once Yummyworks officially verifies with the shipping carrier that the package is lost, we will issue a replacement order.
- Damaged Packages: For packages damaged during transit (excluding melted products, which are covered under Section 5), please email our support team with your order number and photos of the damage so we can assist you.
